Well, You have just watched an action packed film. Whats going on in your mind?
As for me, I have a hoard of thoughts occupying my mind. Firstly I start imagining the 'what ifs'. Like:
What if he had hidden a secret camera to record the confession?
What if the heroine had learnt martial arts?
What if he had figured out the crime earlier?
What if the car ran out of fuel?
What if there was a bomb in the house?
What if he had killed the antagonist at that time only?
After I am done thinking about the 'what ifs' , I start imagining myself as the protagonist, heroine or antagonist. Stepping into their shoes I start imagining myself possessing their powers. For example after watching X-men First Class, I imagined for a while that I had the power of telepathy and could read other people's minds and thoughts. Sometimes I feel so happy imagining these sorts of thing that I hate to accept the reality that I DON'T HAVE THESE POWERS.
If at all I am unsatisfied with the story line of a movie, I start modifying the story in my mind. People might say this is stupidity but I would term it as creativity.
There are sometimes some scenes in the movie that are practically impossible, but still I can't stop imagining myself doing that. In my mind I replace the actor with myself and then applaud myself for performing the imaginary stunt.
So you see that these action packed films can bring in the sense of adventure and creativity in you and make you imagine all sort of 'never to happen' things. The only complaint I have is that I hate the fact that these movies are just movies and we can never actually possess those mutant/heroic/special/supernatural powers. I hope someday it becomes possible to live the life of your favorite characters for at least a day!
